African American Studies Internships
An African American Studies internship allows students to further understand African American experiences in a variety of different fields ranging from economics to biology. Students are encouraged to take the knowledge they have learned in the classroom and translate it to further explore African American culture and experiences.
Students majoring and minoring in African American Studies will receive a well-rounded and diverse education that guides them on a path towards global citizenship. Further, our interdisciplinary focus means that students can take the knowledge they gain in this program and apply it to an endless variety of careers, including in education, entrepreneurship, law, business, economics, communications, social work, and nonprofit work.
