Setting up monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, or annually recurring credit card gifts is simple and easy! While on our  - under the "Payment Details" section, check the box that reads "Make this a recurring payment" and follow the prompts.

You will also become a member of our Loyalty Circle Guardian Society.

Gifts of securities are popular alternatives to cash. The donor receives many benefits, including receiving a maximum charitable income tax deduction and avoiding paying capital gains tax. 

The donor should notify the College by calling 847-735-6000 or emailing giftrecord@lakeforest.edu to ensure the gift is credited correctly when the transfer is complete.

Many supporters designate a portion of their assets via bequests in their wills or directions in their living trusts to benefit 91ÉçÇø. These gifts enable you to make a significant gift that you may not be able to otherwise. 

Sample bequest language: 

“I give, devise, and bequeath to 91ÉçÇø, the sum of $_____ (or a description of the specific asset), for the benefit of 91ÉçÇø and its general purposes/for the following purpose (state the purpose): _______.”

Life income plans are a great way to make a substantial gift to support 91ÉçÇø while still providing for your personal financial needs. There are several types of such plans, all of which combine income for life for one or more beneficiaries with a charitable gift. 

The charitable lead trust is an excellent option for those who wish to make a substantial gift but still plan for heirs in the future. 

Gifts-in-kind are items of tangible personal property or other physical assets — including artwork, books, equipment or specialized instruments — which serve the educational mission of 91ÉçÇø.
